Adult Studio | Experimental Acrylic Painting with Mary Smeallie 

Thursdays, October 2, 9, 16, 23, 1-3 p.m.

For four consecutive weeks we will explore the limitless possibilities of this plastic, water-based medium. Using a variety of substrates from paper, canvas and board, we will combine brush work, found objects, collage, and templates to create a new work each week. This is a class for the artist ready to break away from the norm, or someone willing to try new painting adventures. Please bring a sense of whimsy and experimentation. You can expect to develop a completely unique, one-of-a-kind piece each week. Materials will be discussed at first class.
