Sunday, June 7, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
The nuno felting technique, otherwise known as laminated felting, incorporates fabric into wet felting of wool. In this workshop participants will begin with silk gauze and use thin layers of merino wool to “paint” with. The wet felting process will grab and work through the silk and embed it into the final piece. Silk and yarns and the bits of lace can be layered into the project. Bring old scarves or lace that has memories or significance to add into your project.
